Official Zune sites open

The launch of the Official Zune sites - Zune.net and Zune-Arts.net

Both are awesome looking sites! Lots of pictures with Zune and great promotional graphics to attract the consumers. Even just the impressions I got brought a thought that Zune could really "kick" iPod.

All the accessories are shown with prices and detailed descriptions at Zune.net. You can zoom in pictures for a better view. I just liked all the pictures they have provided on the site.

Trial Subscription for Zune.

It seems that Microsoft got plans to spur subscriptions by offering a 14-day trial subscription to its Zune Pass. Similar to already existing music download sites like Napster or URGE, Microsoft lets Zune owners download an unlimited number of songs while their subscription remains active, but they are going to delete the songs afterwards.

This free trial is another Microsoft's strategy for its Zune. Accoring to some popular poll, 58% of current iPod users said they were very interested in picking up a Zune player over iPod. Regardless of what critics on Zune say, the time will only tell if Zune can really compete with iPod.
